In some ways sure but not like what is depicted in this movie it is much more still the way it was in 93-94 vs the future depicted in the movie imo.

Haha, this is probably one of the best fukkery movies ever made. Movies in the 90's were a lot more fun. Went to the movies to see this in '93. $8 well spent.

I have a love and hate relationship with this film. I think how childish and pc everyone in the future was killed it for me. It was like a pg 13 film with rated r elements.

I will say that I will always crack up at the news reporter asking Stallone's character if causing so much damage in infrastructure was worth saving one child and the little girl goes, " fukk you, lady"
