Please dont defend bad policies. Downloading is like a sine wave, friend. It has ups and downs. If you've been using the site heavy for half a year then you hit a period where there isnt much to dl then you when you're ready return to the site only to see your account closed, its pathetic.thats wat freeleech for
This is why KAT and TPB are the goats. They typically have the best of the best and for what you cant find by way of music, just use soulseek.

OOOOOOH I see!!! I never really fukked with them like that though. I mainly used Demonoid and PB at the time. I have a new one that I discovered awhile back that helped me get Adobe CS6
I had completely forgot about that one. I used them sparingly to get graphic design related software.

REAL private sites never open and are invite only...AND have a ridiculous ratio policy...AND you have a set amount of time to download and upload a certain amount or you are...AND if you get fast, the person who invited you gets to because they invited you

...AND if you get fast, the person who invited you gets to because they invited you IT's not just about the speed with private sites, but yea you can get max speeds on public sites but when you're looking for that NFL 2K5 on PS2 and finally find it on public with one seeder and that seeder capped his upload to 10 kbs you're waiting for a long ass time. I have lots of memories of extremely slow speeds from public sites especially when it isn't recent content.
My main concern is that most people which get in trouble for torrenting were caught via public sites, the millions of users using them make it appealing to copyright trolls to upload their shyt and collect these IP's which then are either sent to your ISP to warn you or stored for perhaps eventual extortion when the Hollywood lobbyists get what they want.
On most private sites, one it's hard to join, already there it's harder for undercover fakkits to join, not everyone can upload which means they can't simple upload files and track you and prevents a$$hole from uploading shyt with viruses and such in it. The safety around it is what makes it appealing. Add a nice community with forums which usually have answers to anything which you can't find on that specific site.
There's no debate, and the speed is constantly maxed out, rarely do I get anything below 6.0-6.7 MBs on my 60mb connection, add in the interface of certain sites and the public ones are pathetic in comparison.

2 of my 3 top used trackers have no ratio watch, the other is a joke to build a ratio, they basically ask you to maintain and could care less about a big ratio.
