For those familiar how would u say the difficulty of this compares to Bloodbourne

it may be harder for you at first but it’s not the hardest souls game. Roll a Royal class and you should be able to coast depending on what changes they’ve made to the systems in the game. Maybe check a character planner if you want to go in prepared.

Knight class is like the standard class.

I might actually go straight into this game as sorcery build.

I remember people told me Dark Souls 1 was the hardest and i found it by far to be the easiest. Way easier than both bloodborne and part 3.

I think it was still Royal but knight class if I remember right isn't that bad, you just don't have the access to magic. It's been a min since I played it but as all From games it's up to your playstyle and spec'ing your character around the weapons you want to use.

It's more hard in the fact the quests and what to do next more so than the game difficulty. I will say you can fukk yourself up quick if you build wrong.

I think another reason was that you can’t move while drinking estus and overall it is much slower paced but I honestly found that to make it easier.

Part 1 was the first time I ever did a sorcery build and felt like it was not only more fun but straight up broke the game once you got the Heavy soul arrows and homing crystals

I remember magic being pretty OP in Demon's Souls too because of the added range attacks. The gameplay was really geared towards close combat so most enemies could do very little to range attacks, or by the time they ran up on you you could already have worn them down significantly.
