But honestly i didnt know that, the way i completed the game that just ended up the last level for me. After I beat the Penetrator i went back and completed the whole prison section i was avoiding. Makes sense now that he would be closed off until u beat the other archstone bosses

Yea I beat dude before I even started the tower of latria or the valley of defilement. He was actually one of the easier bosses in the game. Just used the purple shield and sword enchantment.Not true unless my game glitched. My first playthrough I got to him while still having to do the rolling skeleton archstone. Tried to run away and go back to the Nexus as soon as I noticed who I was about to fight and properly got murked. Came back after I beat everyone and beat his ass first try tho
