The logic behind it is sound. Bryan's a "B+ wrestler". He's "not main event material". He'll "never be that next level guy". What's more main event than taking out Taker at Mania?

A heel Bryan backed by the Wyatts vowing to prove he's main event by ending the Streak once and for all.

Bryan ending it would be more logical than literally everyone since Orton at Mania 21. I'd be hyped as fukk.

Someone (Bryan?) wins the Rumble, refuses to challenge for the title at Mania. (If Bryan, add the reasoning that he gets screwed every time by the machine/Authority so what's the point?) They say unless they can face the Undertaker they simply won't be in the main event and therefore no WWE/WHC title match will take place.

Taker agrees for whatever reason (something to do with the Wyatts and manipulation/cult leader shyt?) and we have our match. Elimination Chamber to decide the #1 contender and then the original Rumble winner (whoever/Bryan) has a ready-made feud planned for after Mania as he "chose not to challenge" for the title and demands his title shot

I'm not getting my hopes up for this sounds like too much of longshot. Hard to be optimistic with him being trapped in this Wyatt at the moment.

The only reason I can see Taker in a storyline. Is that Taker sees the DARK HADOU in Bryan. He is like Minitaker, he cannot be killed or buried by the Authority. Taker came back from the dead when he saw the purity of evil in Bryan, and challenges Bryan because it going to be the Demon vs. the Dragon.

It would be a good match if Undertaker allowed it to be. Still, a 'taker/DB match is not something that necessarily interests me. They could both be used in better ways.

Yeah, as much as I stan D-Bry, his match with Taker wouldn't be near a Lesnar or Cena encounter in terms of casual appeal. Now, you can still book Taker/Bryan and book other matches as the "mainstream" attraction.
