He's finally being played like he should. whenever he gets rebound he pushes and whenever we getting into sets they give him the ball to initiate as a jumbo point forward. I can't even complain about Denis game. He's shooting the best percentage from all our wings he's our best defender. Its a joy watching him body these other dudes, he's too fast and strong for most wings funny enough. His finishing has improved, He goes right still sometimes but now i'm seeing variance, variance in how he attacks on the drive. Sometimes he slows down on the finish to get balance, so he's change of pacing when finishing, Most times he just powers through and just hoes the defender. They also featuring his post up game. Hes starting to play up to his draft position and other than Halliburton i don't regret us having him.
Side note. I'm really enjoying Keefes coaching, his timeouts and how much leeway he gives players or how soon he pulls them for some stuff.
Deni size, speed, power, play making, defense is awesome and I hope he continues to be on the ball. Ben simmons, Giddey type role which is valuable.
ALso Deni has been competitive in matchups with Brandon Ingram, Tatum and Luka. If he gets more of a mid range bag it's over. But whatever he wants to do I trust Brian Keefe to develop or allow to happen.
