Imagine Lebron in a faster pace game with less athletic defenders trying to slow him down...that was the game in the 80s. It was way more open its the kelly prituka and kiki vandeweghe could become very good scorers. With players being faster and longer, those driving lanes that look open close up a lot quicker. Those shots you shoot up are contested quicker and more often. Coaches are getting more knowledgeable and have access to more information and benefit even more from analytics.

Its amazing that Phil Jackson a couple of weeks ago said that even he would have a tough time stopping LeBron, but we got crackheads like Rodman saying stuff. Pippen has even said the same as Phil. Who do you believe? Phill Jackson coached teams in the 80s and 90s here he was able to slow down other players but had a hard time stopping Durant and Westbrook. Are either better than Lebron? Weren't Kobe and World Peace all nba defenders? Wouldn't many consider them players that could defend in previous eras?
