He definitely would have had to have Tim Duncan-like fundamentals to have the type of success he enjoys now. He would have been an All-Star caliber player but nowhere close to being a 4 time MVPer.

Ummm... doesn't he have that now?

LOL at the hate, Magic was just fine in the 90's. Bron would have been good.

C'mon Rodman, it's not like us fans have forgotten 90s NBA. But it's 2013 and Lebron is the best right now. It's ridiculous how Lebron gets no benefit of the doubt. If it was "play on" era right now Lebron be steamrolling players, getting his lumps in also.

Its hilarious.

Malone and Pippen didn't have Duncan like fundamentals either and that didn't stop them being superstars, but Lebron is who more skilled and talented than they were would need them?
:wtf:

Bron is as athletic as Nique, can pass like Magic and is as strong as Malone. He'd be a good player in any era.The problem is that he's so mentally fragile despite all of his talents. The physicality of the 80's would get to him. Rodman would have him frustrated as hell.

An athlete is a product of the current atmosphere of the game.

That ebing said... if current Bron tooka time machine and played an NBA game in the 90's, he'd be very timid after the first time going into the paint for a lay up and getting the equivalent of a current day flagrant foul not being called and the referee indicating "play on".

However, as athletically gifted he is and with his phsysique...had he grown his game throughout the 90's...he'd have been a top 3 NBA player regardless.

Disclaimer: I am a Knick Fan, I hate the Heat, I have no respect for his flopping but I ackowledge his talent.
I was gonna come in to say this. Lebron is from a different time. His size and natural talent, he woulda been a different player if he grew up and played during MJ's time. Like MJ and Rodman would have possibly been different players in this era.

So in an era where Mark Price, Jeff Hornacek & Craig Ehlo roamed free, you mean to tell me Bron, arguably top 5 when he's done, would've been average? :rudy:

Rodman been fukkin too many trannies if he thinks this is true

All those guys you named have a exceptional fundamental skill that is needed at their position and that is called a jump shot. Bron would not be average but he for dame sure would not be attacking the paint like does when he not in the Finals. He would be an all star but he would not be compared to MJ.

You do realize Larry Johnson was an absolute beast at 6'5" before his back gave out right?

Yes muthafucca, I do realize that - which is why I said it.

My point is, LJ had an array of skills but he had to live in the paint playing the 4. That's exactly what any team would've done with Bron if he came in the league in '91.

Matter of fact, y'all remember that Converse commercial when they made "Grandmama" go to "3 point land"? lol

This. Lmao @ Rodman fouling out with the quickness guarding Durant. Oh yah Rodman, surely your 90s defense can't adjust with the current rules. You'd be average as fukk.

rodman is def reaching saying he would be average in that era, but rodman and laimbeer would have gave :troll: a difficult time driving to the rim forcing him to be a jump shooter.

Exactly, Lebron would have to learn to live in the paint. He would have been 4. I think he would have been used like Barkley(when Barkley used to run the break for the Suns in transition) except he would have been more of a face up 4, than back to the basket.

LJ had a post game from the jump, Bron didn't develop his until last year. Lebron was taller and quicker, but he wasn't skilled or strong enough coming out of high school to play the 4 like LJ.

he's acting like Lebron couldn't adjust his game

I don't think they shyt on Bron because of his game. We all know its godly, well maybe his tendency to drive. Bron would get murdered going to the rack 15 times a game in the 80s, 90s. What most of these players don't like about dude is his lack of mental toughness. Even small, frail dudes like Reggie Miller were tough as nails back then. If Bron was born in 1962, he'd be a product of that environment and probably tougher but the Bron we know, it wouldn't be easy for him.
