My mom told me that my grandparents had a racist experience at a Denny's so it's bushed forever in our family. I've never been before. Only been to IHOP once and it was just ok. Waffle House is really the only major chain breakfast spot I mess with.

IHOP got better selection of fancy French toast and pancakes but Denny’s gotta better portions and selection of overall food items

Prefer IHOP, but sometimes it comes down to the location because one location may have good cooks and the other location 5 miles away may be trash.

IHOP is okay, been there a few times late at night, so I’ve only ever tried their burgers and chicken sandwiches.

Denny’s I’ve only been to the one in Toronto, never tried it in the US. I don’t remember loving or hating it.
