:wow: after as much promise our season was destroyed last night, and was basically a total failure

:ehh: next question is where do we go from here

-does manning stay(does need to take a pay cut)

-champ says he is not retiring, i think he can be a great safety, he just can over top 2 wr any more, chris harris tearing his acl was a hugh lost for us, plus if he stays he will have to take a hugh paycut

-i think we let both decker and knowson go

-we need to get away from the spread offense and move closer to a regular nfl offense where we have a fb on the play more, cause that spread limited on offense a whole lot last night in the running area

-sign both von and DT to long term contracts, and see if we can give a J thomas a extinction also

draft MLB asap, thats a hugh part that holding our Defense back

VON, danny t, and a good MLB(either from the draft or FA) will make our LB really good

sure up our Oline, we will get clady back, we need to upgrade the LG postion(i think franklin should move to LG) and we should find another RT, and center is position of need also

hopefully phillips sign a 1-2 year deal wit us for short money

sign CRO back to a long term deal asap

all in all i think if we can get back healthily on defense(rahim moore, wolf, von, vickerson, chris harris all these players were starters and was hurt) and have all our players playing together for most the year instead of a revolving door we will be solid n defense

:wow::wow::wow::wow::wow: this doesnt hurt as much as last year when flacco and jones took our soul

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
All it took was 12 seconds to let me know this shyt wasn't going to go our way.

It's probably going to take much longer to figure out how one of the most prolific offenses of all times could only muster up 8 points in the SB.

Might not ever make sense. Only thing that does make sense is that I watched the Broncos, my Broncos, turn in one of the most pathetic and embarrassing performances ever on one of the biggest and grandest stages ever. This shyt was the most watched sporting event in history...in history. :wow: And that is what we had to offer. :wow:

Now, let's be clear: the Seattle fukking Seahawks WON that game. The Broncos didn't lose it. This shyt was so lopsided and mismatched: JV v. Varsity. From that opening hit on DT, the Legion of Boom made clear that they were bout that action and were deadset on demonstrating how the Broncos, my Broncos, didn't belong on the same field. At least not on this Super Bowl field in NY. In every phase of the game (defense, offense, special teams, coaching, 12th man), we were outclassed, outmuscled, outsmarted, outhearted. And it wasn't even close. :wow:

This shyt burns, brehs. Not sure this one will ever be painless. Feels worse than that 49ers beating in the 90s. :sadcam: So, brehs will have to forgive me for shooting off them negs during the game. :bustback::whew: Somebody representing the Broncos had to show some fight. Because it was clearly not happening on the field.

Before the game, I was reflecting on the historic numbers we put up during the regular season--PFM's 55 TDs and 5,477 passing yards; the team's 606 points;
DT, Julius, Welker, Knowshon, and Deck scoring 10+ TDs; and Prater's 64-yarder--and how I'll always remember this team for that. And maybe I will. Unfortunately, right now, it appears that the only numbers that define this season for this team are 8 and 43. They will hang in infamy like 10 and 55. And 10 and 42. I was so confident that we would make history Sunday night, I just never contemplated that history being to the tune of the Broncos losing in the Super Bowl for a record fifth time. And it's not that I couldn't conceive of a loss. Anyone who has seen Seattle knew that was a decent possibility. Just didn't see it being so uneven. :scusthov:

So, where do we go from here, brehs? What must they do to get back to the SB and make it over that hump? Or am I asking the wrong question...is it silly even to consider the Broncos winning the SB next year given that the reigning champion LOB don't appear to be going anywhere?

The truth is, that wasn't one of the most proilific offenses of all time.

It was just a byproduct of the state of the NFL where the rules put a premium on offense.

Truth is that team wasn't as talented on offense as it seemed. Julius Thomas & Eric Decker aren't true threats, lets be real.

The Mile High City
Offense:
Resign Caldwell. Decker :camby: He'll want to much money and he's a fakkit. Julius Thomas is still too raw to be trusted. If he pans out like I hope he does we straight. We have to resign KnowMo. He's the most reliable back we have so far. For the O-line, move Clark to guard when Clady comes back. Beadles can gtfo :camby:

Defense:
This is where shyt gets tricky :patrice: We need to Champ to restructure his contract if he doesn't retire. No way he's worth 13 mil. Next resign Harris, DRC and Phillips. I dont think we'll be able to resign Ayers. As much as I love Woodyard I dont see us resigning him. He was great last year as an OLB but he struggled this year at MLB. Paris Lenon, Quentin Jammer :camby: In the draft we need to grab a MLB, DE/DT, CB and WR. We can get a good safety in FA. If we somehow get Byrd or Ward :ohlawd:

So, you're saying they weren't a great offense? :ld: Julius Thomas is a threat. It's just Seattle has a penchant for making great TEs seem ordinary--see Jimmy Graham; see Vernon Davis. And Deck isn't bad.

I thought they should have fired Fox after the loss to the Ravens and I think they should fire him after this Super Bowl debacle. They did not look ready to play at all against Seattle.

They have to let Decker walk, because he's soft, chokes in big games and is gonna want a lot more money than he's worth. Champ's gotta take a major paycut or he needs to go too.

I don't think they can do enough in one offseason to catch up to Seattle/SF. Playing in a terrible conference and division doesn't help them either. They won't get tested enough in the regular season.

lets be real tho, we was much better than we played last night, just seem way unprepared from the start of the game

i dont think we need to change that much to be back and better, shyt our defense was trash all year and we made it, we can only get better and healthier

plus i would like to think we will add some more pieces and young players will get better
