moreno is gone. somebody will pay and ball is trusted. decker is overrated, but i think they'll work something out with him. champ needs to go, last yr i suggested safety but wouldnt even want him there at this point. d. thomas needs to take another step up and get to that legit top-5 wr space.

i'm not sure about von long-term, i'd need to see another full season

Denver needs to do a few things i know it won't be popular but it has to be said

- Fire John Fox & Jack Del Rio - I repeat Denver will never WIN a SB with these 2 men coaching and running the defense. The way denver was ill equipped to play speaks on the head coach. The way the defense consistently was out of position on pass rushes speaks for Del Rio & fox game plan/ strategy, it's like they didn't watch flim on Wilson all year.

- Lessen the burden on Peyton Manning - There's no reason at all why a 37 year old man has the pressure to perform on a day to day basis like peyton has. They need to move away from the gimmick spread offense and play more of a conventional Pro Style offense in which run/pass ratio is closer to 50/50. To do this they need to get a solid #1 back which leads to Moreno leaving, Hillman leaving and.........................

- Trade Von Miller for Adrian Peterson - I know, this might sound crazy, but Von has probably burned some bridges in Denver with his suspension, ripping his knee up, and recouping his 1M signing bonus. AP want's to win and is in his prime and would help Denver tremendously. Think of Elway and TD from 96-98. Getting AP puts them back in a position to win the SB because the burden doesn't fall directly on peyton's shoulders. Minnesota get's a younger pass rushing beast to go along with the mold of their new head coach. You keep ball as AP's backup and pickup another back via the draft

- Throw Champ to the bushes. He's made it clear he's not going to play safety, he can't cover anyone anymore. Let him retire and get his HOF jacket in 5 years.

- Resign JT, DT, let go of decker and have wes restructure his contract. Caldwell can play Decker's role in the offense and with denver going to more of a pro style set with AP they won't need super depth at WR.

With the AFC being weak, their only competition is New England and a healthy steeler team. Denver has a tough schedule though, they need to stay ahead of NEW England if they wanna go back to the SB again.

So, you're saying they weren't a great offense? :ld: Julius Thomas is a threat. It's just Seattle has a penchant for making great TEs seem ordinary--see Jimmy Graham; see Vernon Davis. And Deck isn't bad.

Folk really aren't giving that Seahawks D credit. They are fukking incredible. I watch them a lot being a 9er fan. You better have a dog at tight end or else he will be rendered useless.

Peyton needs to take a pay cut. If he loves the game so much he would do what it takes to pay guys we need to win.

Decker gone.

Moreno we keep.

Draft middle line backer.

Need a hard hitting safety and just need a new attitude.

Fox pissed me off and I blame him for the loss. Manning second , he showed no leadership.

Champ needs to walk or take pay cut.

Elway press conference today. People gonna get clipped.

I was wit u till the trade part, first of all why would Minn make that trade, it makes no sense for them, great rb(peterson one of the goats) is way more important than a dimensional pass rushing lb

Champ needs to restructure and he said he willing to play safety

Cladwell cant fill decker spot at all, tbh I much rather have decker than wes, but wes already got his contract so I expect him to stay over him

I think we should look at mjd and see if he has anything left in the tank tho, cause I really dont think knowson will be back

We play in Seattle this season..got the Niners at home.

This year is the defining year. we either grow some attitude and swag or we crash and burn from the sb hangover.

You guys just need to cut him. No need to be pushing cap dollars into the future. He is done.
Na breh I think he will be solid at safety, and if he doesnt take a big home discount than yea I would like to see him cut, aint nobody out there gon really sign him, so he probably would come back for little money or retire

Breh, I'm no Broncons fan and I'm not gonna claim to know what your situation is up there but... HTF you gonna say this?
Has there been indications that he may wanna hang it up? Do you have a replacement on standby? And why would he take a paycut? THe man is your entire offense. Or do yo mean renegociate to take more money up front in signing bonus with a smaller salary?

No I dont think he will hang it up at all

But he needs not to be our entire offense, he needs to take less so he could have more weapons tbh(on o an d) , whatever will give us more cap

And we have a backup who they drafted 2 years ago In the 2nd, 6'6 qb brock oswilder, dudes get no snaps so we dont know if he ok or not, I just hope he learning something tho

:wow:

:ehh: next question is where do we go from here

-does manning stay(does need to take a pay cut)

-we need to get away from the spread offense and move closer to a regular nfl offense where we have a fb on the play more, cause that spread limited on offense a whole lot last night in the running area
lol @ take a paycut, u get paid for 16 regular season games playoffs are a bonus, he had the best regular season of all time hes not taking a paycut

lol that offense was lethal u just ran into the only team that could stop it

If he want to win then he should take a pay cut, nothin hugh, but so good cap room, so we can keep some weapons or add more

They could bring manning's base down to about 8-9 million and give him incentives to recoup the rest.
