Yeah I was thinking the same, you just signed Malik to a 2-year deal and you get rid of all your receivers
Like why bring in Malik then when you could of just had Ewers tank.
He signed a 3 year 84.5 million extension in 2024. The Phins are over the cap and can draft Lemon or Tyson and probably get similar production for way cheaper. They probably draft heavy on offense and get another WR and a TE with the extra picks.
Malik should've gone to Arizona but he knew this was a rebuild so he's not surprised. Now if they trade Achane he should be upset.
IIRC Eagles wanted a first, a starter-caliber player and another pick for AJ.
But he’s a #2 WR that can get a 1RP and then some. Even better
