The movie looks entertaining but I don’t think it looks Oscar worthy but the Oscars have been falling off lately so who knows maybe it is.

He did, and he is very early into his acting career so he is still learning. Dont think he went to a drama school he played football for a bit right? So he is still learning his craft right now.

Of course it is. Let's see how he's doing in 10 films time. Also he can pick good roles as he isn't coming from a situation where he NEEDS money.

Prestige and TDK, the latter because of Heath Ledger’s performance, are the only Nolan movies worth watching. Everything else he’s made is
Inception, Memento, Insomnia, Interstellar...all extremely overrated. His batting average is terrible, so I’m unconvinced this movie will be worth my time.

He’s M Night Shyamalan with even more pretentiousness and worse scripts. At least the twists in Shyamalan’s movies achieve some measure of consistency. Nolan thinks he’s smarter than the audience, which results in concepts that aim beyond their reach and insult our intelligence.
this is a blockbuster sci fi thriller. Those type of movies dont win Oscar's.

Both are good ways to get off the ground. Now that Nolan's got a hold of him, that'll be his next big step. Blackkklansman was my second favorite film of 2018.
