I enjoyed it except for that long stretch in the middle where nothing happened. Building the story of him becoming friends with the town.
I loved that part tbh. The movie has a nice texture to it where it felt earned that he would care about the wellbeing of the citizens. I also liked that he wasnt tryna smash anyone. Thats really how it be sometimes u see a cute girl but its just like whatever im just enjoying your company. Especially when you dont really know the language like that.

The other two movies, first one was like hell nah no way you care about this random white girl sitting at the bar to be doing all this. She for the streets. Second one was like, ok yea its a young breh but he aint on shyt. Whats the motivation for things getting better. They really improved on everything surrounding the character. Even the ending felt cathartic. I wanted to get up and do the two step in the theatre myself.

Finally got around to watching this

Paper thin script - don’t think they had a compelling story to tell, at all. Denzel’s gravitas and star power always shines through though.

Loved the opening scene and I think out of the three I prefer the action in this one. Some really good kills

Also, cool to see him with Dakota Fanning again
