Denzel captured the essence of that from his performance in training day..

nah breh the entire film is just one day of work

starts in the morning with the recruit meeting with denzel in a diner and ends with that recruit taking the money back home

u obviously wasn't paying attention to the movie dog

it's been atleast 5 years since I seen the movie. I just remember him coming back home after a shift half way through the movie for some reason.

Damn, that really was incredible performance considering how little and how boring that scene was written out.

Yeah, that scene was kinda boring. Denzel actually put a bunch of those dialogue at the end together.

It's actually a pretty well written script.
