Young people would rather get rich off mid tik toks and reaction content on YouTube than becoming film makers.

Most news and non fiction work is designed to make you so depressed and angry you feel like killing yourself or other people.

Our politicians should be in nursing homes but they're spouting conspiracy theories and looting the public coffers.

Most stand up comedy is trash and there hasn't been a blockbuster comedy in years. SNL hasn't been funny since probably 2005.

Many of our music and entertainment icons looking funny in the light or are saying the most stupid shyt when micd up. The same kanye that spoke out against white supremacy has been turned out by a white family and reduced to a babbling c00n.

Everything is over priced.

When I first discovered this site it was all about choppin' it up, no fukks to give, and having a good laugh. It really was about sports, hip hop, and piffery

It's gradually become a colder place and today just feels like rock bottom.

@hex I'm thinking about what you stated earlier about this forum being damn near impossible to moderate due to the lack of involvement from the mods.

Given the amount of bıtch-assness and lack of correction going on, perhaps it's just time for this forum to be led to the guillotine once and for all.

Pandemic slowed things down, but we're getting moving again. Don't forget how dope 2019 was before the pandemic with Parasite, The Lighthouse, Jojo Rabbit, 1917, Portrait of a Lady on Fire, Knives Out, Uncut Gems, Midsommar, Endgame, Joker, Irishman, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Us, etc.

yeah things definitely changed after the housing crash. I remember EA shut down EA Sports BIG (NBA/NFL Street, Def Jam FFNY) because they needed money and had to shut down studios that weren't that profitable. A big issue nowadays is that companies are going after low hanging fruit (demographic pandering, remakes, social media memes/talking points) to sell their products. No one with capital wants to make money by investing/creating new ideas or intellectual property.
