As far as Rattler:
1- Drafting a QB in the 2nd right after they took you means you’ve already been evaluated

2- 5th round investment is not significant. It’s either they’re looking to develop and trade you (see Joe Milton), or ‘we’ll take a flyer and you’ve got a short leash’. Ie Aiden O’Connell in the 4th. Ie no one remembers the Texans drafted Davis Mills , and he went in the 3rd
