Assuming that the FO:s were correct in their assessment of Shedeur, who would you have taken? :jbhmm:

Shid I definitely would have grabbed Ewers before the 7th

I would have definitely taken Shedeur before the 5th too though. No matter what you think of him/deion he’s not a 5th round QB. And even so its no risk.

Might as well just sign some free agent.

Wouldn't call cats dumb for not adding a bunch of 5-7th round QBs

Like who? I’d rather take the chance on a youngin and hope one of these MFs can turn into Purrdy or something
I don't know who is available besides Arod, just saying that having that it seems weird to sign multiple QBs when your whole team is lacking in many positions. Instead of signing the one you believe in.

But yea, if Carr was a known problem they probably should've made moves in the FA market earlier.

Shedeur is already braver than Carr

Smh The problem is, it’s very apparent yall ain’t never been athletes. Roast culture = yall have no respect at all for how hard it is to even get to Derek Carr’s level

Carr is trash relatively speaking ….but he’s still better then the majority of QBs. To just casually say Shaduer is better than him at anything is pure delusion.

Shaduer will be senior VP of Well Off Media before he’s a replacement level starting QB.

The first thing I look at qbs is how they stand in the face of pressure. I have shyt on Carr for being a backfoot throwing p*ssy for years. He had too much sucker in him. Shedeur holds on to the ball too long but isnt a backfoot throwing sucka like Carr was. You can build on a qb who will stand there. You cant with someone like Carr. Seen it from jump.

That’s dope that you had a good read on how he plays, but he made 4 pro bowls and had an mvp caliber season after you said this :heh:

Which goes to my point, this league is HARD. There are no perfect prospects. Shaduer would be LUCKY to have Carr’s career.

Also it’s quite ironic that Carr and Shaduer generally have the same issue which I have noted several times as early as his first few games at CU

his processing time is a major red flag. We often look at interceptions as a sign for failed QBs but perhaps just as relevant is sacks taken. You not supposed to be taking that many sacks in college. And no, it’s not the o-like this ain’t the league he’s not facing Micah parsons out there. He’s trying to curate a high % and purposely trying not to run. He’s learning bad habits

Shadeuer has a HUGE red flag and it’s that he takes a lot of sacks. That’s a death knell for NFL QBs. He’s learning bad habits to take a ton of time to throw, and growing a lil flinch bc he’s getting hit so much

Even if it’s not shaduer fault, he’s learned too many bad habits playing bending a bad o-line. I rarely see him drop back plant and release always searching for a big play or improvising, even tho he’s not a runner. Weird combo

He has , probably bc of learning bad habits, avg at best footwork. He’s learning to be skittish in the pocket. He holds the ball.

Slow, takes sacks, and even if those sacks weren’t his fault, it caused bad habits that traditionally are hard to break.

Ironically, the guy we should mention here is David Carr. Got hit so much early in his development it ruined him.

When youre p*ssy, youre p*ssy. Carr was a bigtime p*ssy and held his own self back. You cant coach up heart.

One thing Shedeur does have is a lack of fear. He aint timid in the pocket.

My ‘respect the game’ rants are falling on deaf ears I see. Jim Everett, spent 10 seasons as a starting QB. Again, Shaduer would be lucky to do so

But yea he is fearless it will come in handy when he’s head of marketing at Well Off Media

Im talking football. Sheduer hangs in the pocket and doesnt off platform throw like bytch ass Carr.

This isnt about Shedeurs career. Carr was a p*ssy at qb and you dont want that said.

You’re not talking about football. Being ‘a p*ssy’ is your subjective perspective.

A p*ssy with arm talent who plays 10 seasons >>> a kid with a noodle arm and happy feet who could be out the league in 3 years…..but hey at least he got heart :obama:
