Exactly. Stats. If you WATCH football, he still was who he was. He was among the lead leaders in dropped ints the year he had good numbers and it was still fools gold.

Stats never tell the entire story. He was still throwing off his backfoot in 2016 and scared. Jim Everret had a great year and still managed to do this in the playoffs.

My initial post had zero stats and talked about his play. He's the same player....now it's just catching up to him.

I said more than stats and again, I watched the games. You just choose to ignore everything else. He was also among the league leaders in dropped passes and had been for several years. Like you said stats don't tell the full story.

I saw it live on my TV. It was the first time I saw an NFL player look really p*ssy like that on the field. I remember Madden being baffled on the replay. And just the week prior I was celebrating him beating the Giants in OT because it meant my Niners would go to the Super Bowl.

In this play you’ll see the ultimate problem with Carr. He doesn’t step into anythrow it’s all arms. Just a straight arm throw and with pressure it just doesn’t work. He needs a QB coach badly.

Derek has the talent to make those throws on the regular, but he's always had a check down mentality. He was in the midst of shedding it in 2016 but broke his leg at the very end, looked shaken to start 2017 and things got compounded when he broke his back.

Coop was winning his matchups but David was too busy being p*ssy to let plays develop because he was scared​
