That doesn't happen to Euro coaches. Scott Brooks was given several years with the Thunder/Sonics before he was fired. He only won somewhere around 15-30 games in his 1st season. McHale had several seasons with the Rockets to make something happen. There's such a short leash on Afrikan coaches in the racist NBA. Our coaches either get rosters that don't fit the system, or they get trash rosters altogether, or fired rather quickly, and multiple times. You don't see many Docs in the racist (not to be confused with prejudiced) NBA.

Why do you constantly make up shyt? The Bulls had one of the worst starting lineups/rosters in the league -

No starter averaged over 14 ppg, with Carlos Boozer as the main option averaging 13.7 ppg and being a defensive sieve - yet they still managed to win 48 games. Give Thibs - Melo, Afflalo, Porzingis, Lopez, D-Will, Galloway, Thomas and Calderon and they'd be top-4 in the East right now.

DJ Augustine was our #1 option that year.

I don't think people remember that Butler regressed big time offensively that year, in part because he was injured and partly because we had no scoring threats that season.

Skeptical of how Rose, Noah, Deng and a handful of others looked by the end of a season under him. You want to blame lack of depth and the need to pump these guys' minutes in order to be competitive that's cool; but I'd rather have healthier players and a 6 seed than an injured, limping 2 seed into the playoffs. But like I said, I'm literally skeptical of EVERYONE, so no need to get defensive about it.

I'd rather be the dumbest than the most emotional and I'm a woman. I'm kool with another coach as long as he is given a chance with a roster that fits what Phil wants to run. None of this pick up bad fits for your system then blame the coach. I'm personally sick of all the drama of being disturbed in the season everyday about this revolving door of coaches. Get a coach that can run the system you want. Get players that fit that system. Give the coach a 3 to 5 year deal, and if he underachieves, don't extend him. That simple.

I wasn't being defensive. I simply asked what you were skeptical about. If Phil signs adequate depth, there would no reason for you to be skeptical with Thibs.
