Your original point completely ignored what I was talking about. I was talking about broader trends of high value black men forsaking marriage and family to live a bachelor life. these are the men who need to pass on wealth, networks, opportunity and privilege to build up and or strengthen the black community.

To suggest is shouldn't be done because there is no community kinda proves my point. We have no community because of this and other reasons as well. But im getting too deep and youre quiet shallow.
:scusthov: The bachelor life sounds awesome tho, no commitment or responsibility. Would you do it? All you have to spend money on is yourself.

A lot of black women are successful tho, black men probably just don't want to deal with the power struggle because women try to compete with them.

If a man is inclined to pass on his "wealth, networks, opportunity and privilege" to his people, that's great.
However, no person "needs" to do any of that because you think so.

As you yourself admit here, there are a myriad of reasons we don't have a "community",
it's not strictly because "high value" black men aren't getting married. There's nothing "deep" about that.

You didn't answer my question though, why leave the bachelor life where it's stress-free and there's no commitment. This is not 1995 this is what's happening NOW.

Where's the incentive, what can you offer to a black man who is successful?

No where in this space in time is any man (outside the generally underachving black American man) asking a women this shyt.

If that belief works for you. You know there is a problem with black men not passing on their wealth and you refuse to think critically about it. That is counter productive and you know it.

I didn't say it was strictly for this reason. I specifically said among other reasons. As I said before, the men I see in this area where I live aren't having these debates no matter how much money they have. So I wonder why the most broke down dysfunctional poor backwards (forgive mass murderers of our women) community is having this conversation.
