I watched both play and I believe that Penn was just as good if not better than great. Penny was a great all around player and was a better outside shooter (could knock down the three) and could post up incredibly well (Jordan could not handle him on the block and pippen often would have to guard him). Dude had that hop side to side post game that was sick.

Grant was the better defender but other than that I believe that the ball handling and passing was equal. But penny had grant in the offensive end.

Penny continues to be the most overrated player in NBA history. Dude was a good player, but Hill was clearly better. He was on that LeBron statline before LeBron was in high school.
