There's absolutely nothing wrong with having a mentor. I don't know why people think that only players who have had hardships and setbacks in life need one. A mentor is someone who has experience that can help guide and motivate someone. We all need mentors.
nah he should get as far away from Fl. as possible...seems like an agenda to bring him down in that state
Why?All his trouble was silly stuff at FSU.It's not like he's been running with the wrong crowd or friends from old neighborhood pulling him down. He'd be just fine in Tampa Bay.Seems more like everyone else in the country is trying to bring him down not Fla.Yes, but the narrative is the issue.
White people and c00ns feel better about themselves when they tell the world (through the media) that a young Black male needs mentoring.
:huhhuh: Florida state prosecutors got a hard on for him and will never forget the allegations from his blonde caucasion accuserWhy?All his trouble was silly stuff at FSU.It's not like he's been running with the wrong crowd or friends from old neighborhood pulling him down. He'd be just fine in Tampa Bay.Seems more like everyone else in the country is trying to bring him down not Fla.
I completely agree with you and it's going to continue until someone that everyone respects calls them out on this.Yes, but the narrative is the issue.

I agree and have had mentors and have mentored folks. My beef is the narrative is that black athletes always need mentors. Where as the media almost never says white dudes need mentors unless they are well known fukk ups. That is what I am talking about.
Winston’s father, Antonor Winston, tells USA Today his son is supposed to have more security around him to make sure he is safe and able to stay out of trouble.
“He’s supposed to have somebody around him 24/7,” Antonor Winston told USA Today. “He a Heisman Trophy winner so (he’s) definitely not supposed to be by (himself).”
amazing this short post got overlookedBrooks ain't even say it himself tho
This is the admission from Jameis' own dad. The boy wasn't raised by a strong man.

That isn't showing strong leadership from one who is supposed to be the leader in his house. I'll be damn if I send my son or daughters out into the world and say they need adult supervisors. That's the portrait of a weak man saying this.
