Honestly, I would have considered that a few years ago, but it seems like the running game is making its way back. QB's aren't all having these massive games every week.
I think we see a resurgence in the HB position.
Exactly was listening to some pod talking about how the game is getting more analytical.
Fewest touch downs ever, highest completion % ever.
Few people are throwing shyt down the stretch anymore, just these damn 4 yard advances, taking teams a full quarter to get to the red zone
But with that, it still stands that the spread between a solid 6 year veteran RB and top guys coming outta college has tightened a lot. Almost inverted.
The way NFL pay is structured is that you will peak after your rookie contract, but for your average RB it should almost be the opposite.
So basically they pay peanuts on the dollar for dudes who will have fallen off when they are allowed to get paid what "they should've" been paid if rookie contracts didn't exist.
