This shyt pisses me off man. Fukk Thibs man. This dude legit one of my favorite players ever, ended way too soon. Is this how you old dudes felt with Penny Hardaway? I know Brandon Roy was the last time I was legit angry about shyt like this.
penny and roy were different in that they shunned their natural to be lazy and negate the nightly mismatch and leadership role at point guard.
when both were physiologically never built for playing sg...hence why both were pedigreed in college as point guards.
both were chasing the switch to sg glory that was passing along in the nba.
at the time from mike to penny, and in roy's case.
roy was chasing the same type of draw as ivo switching to sg, from pg.
yet, neither were durable like ai actually proven to being undersized.
roy and penny both were physiologically points and why they were there at the position,
whom ever a long time ago solidified both at the point was smart and knew the physiology of the game.
right now, carmelo struggles in the same situation in okc.
past the kinda obvious wait till the off's to build value and take less critique if he bolts style setup to his year.
yet, melo is strictly in the frontcourt only a small forward and no more.
melo's natural body physiology does not allow him to ever be a power forward, effectively.
[pg need to move to the two and melo to the three, and roberson need to be put on the fukk'n bench.]
only because we are in the low bball iq era still being predicated by fifteen and ten.
has it not really exposed him or caused injury.
yet i feel he is headed to possible danger like roy, penny and shareef abdur raheem had moving and playing a position physiologically their bodies were not made to handle.
the one thing about basket ball is knowing what type of body physiology a player has to put them at their natural positions.
their natural positions meaning where they will thrive, regardless of circumstance.
in this case roy, penny and imo melo are suffering or suffered in their careers because they would not committ to their natural.
thus bringing on the very issues that could ruin if they play any longer.
either from output or physiological damage compounding and resulting in injury that is detrimental to if they would play anymore.
