Consider last season. As is often brought up, Rose played through a plethora of maladies. Every time, the team doctors cleared him to play. Every time, he got re-injured, or discomfort with one body part resulted in an injury to another body part. He was never comfortable in 2011-12, but he played, because the Bulls told him he could play. And on that fateful day in April 2012, he blew out his ACL. He faced up to a year of not being able to do that which he loves most: play basketball.

Anyone with a lick of sense, would have known once Rose missed the regular season that he wasn't coming back for the playoffs. I haven't believed not once that he would come back, no matter how far the Bulls advance. Even if he did and they got blown out (though they did the other night without him) he looks like the culprit. But if he comes back and wants to be the top scorer he will look like he's coming back just to save the day for the Bulls. His peeps should have shut him down for the season once his brother said that shyt in the media. He'll get a pass this year, but if he doesn't come back in training camp strong and to start the season he should get every bit of criticism thrown his way.

I have the luxury of listening to ESPN Chicago everyday and they are talking about Rose winning dunk contests with teammates while Deng is having problems with his spine, Noah's foot is basically taped to his ankle and Kirk has played with a million things wrong with him this year. You can't help but look at Derrick sideways.
