Derrick Rose is saying all the wrong things

I can't remember which book it was as my MJ books are at the parent's crib but he stated in one of the them that he was an employee of the Chicago Bulls off of the court. No, Rose isn't obligated, but with his fortunes being linked to whatever goes on, he should show a willingness to join in and help.

Like I said, Rose isn't the GM nor is there any clause in his contract saying he has to go out and recruit free agents. If he wants to recruit players to help the team then cool but if he doesn't, then that's his prerogative.

If Melo truly wants to be a Bull, he'll be a Bull. I highly doubt his decision hinges on Derrick Rose calling him personally to ask him to play there.

I still don't understand why the official meeting is at midnight? Are the bulls trying to get the organization to pay for some strippers on its dime to "recruit" Melo? Then the two meetings in Texas on the same day? its just weird timing.
