Where in my post do I expect him to do jack shyt? I don't, but I think his mindset is weak. If you're the face of the franchise you gotta be assertive. Noah is a great teammate because he knows it's not his place to be assertive but you can feel he realizes Rose is a dumbass but he happens to be the de facto captain cause of his mvp trophy.
You gotta reach out and throw your hat in the ring, court people, that's part of the process and it's even more important if someone is reportedly undecided about where they wanna go.

. Rose attended the meeting but he doesn't give a fukk because he wants Love in Chicago. There's nothing he can really do to convince Melo because Melo was going to make his decision regardless of how anyone on the Bulls team felt about it.

I have zero beef with Rose on this issue, we've known what his PR skills are like. If anything a media savvy franchise player might see it as a boon cause they're almost entirely free to assert their personality on the teams image (Noah willing)

Of course he doesn't have to do anything, but when you're the franchise player and you have an opportunity to bring the arguable best scorer in the league on your squad, it doesn't hurt to be aggressive and let the prospective free agent know how much you want them on your squad.
