If only Yao, Roy, and Gilbert and the balls to do what Rose did. Its guaranteed money. Why rush it?

They weren't beating the Heat anyway.

:dwillhuh:

He still can't catch the ball. No one projected him being this good?

:mindblown:

His game hasn't changed since last season. In fact the funny thing is, he's averaging the same amount of blocks this season as he did last season while playing double the minutes.

asik is the same player, he just getting the minutes now

im not mad at the front office for moving on from him, you cant pay a back up center that much money

im mad they did nothing with that flexibility.

you either keep asik and flip noah, or flip asik for some wing help

this dumb ass front office did neither.

the defensive efficiency has not dropped much or any at all with asik being gone.

dudes talking dont know basketball.

the same strengths we had last season and before is still there, we still out rebound most teams and defend well, that is all thibs, asik was not the anchor of that

the weakness is the guard play.

I don't know whats going on with someone else s body and/or mind, but you have to feel like this dude has some sort of mental block about playing.

When your playing basketball, not Football, and doctors clear you to play and weeks and weeks go by and you keep telling people your not ready yet, something is up.

His management wanted to hold him out due to their own past knee issues. He was projected to return by march he was always going to go an extended period of full practices before returning. The mental block was this he wanted to do what he did before he's close to playing. I wouldn't be surprised if you heard that he will play within the next few games.

why is this shyt still newsworthy? after 3 updates the press should be like "get back to us when you're ready to return." let him focus on his recovery and motivating his teammates, take the camera out his face and fukk these pen and pad ass nikkas too.

IMO, i think he's gonna try and :cape: for the oofs. he'll be on limited minutes so he's gonna be showcasing his leadership traits

because I have two sources confirm to me that they expect him to play got a online buddy that knows the interns that work at the bulls have confirmed some info that I have received from my other source. Just look at the video of that Detroit dunk last night the guy is close.

It is 100% true that Bulls believed Rose would be back first week of March. They had discussed a timeline for his return and believed it would be the first week of March against Philly (28th) or Brooklyn. The Bulls also were prepared to go hard after JJ Redikk via trade to aid them for their playoff run and become their starting 2 guard but did not offer when they were made aware that Rose was in fact not coming back at all this season a decision Reggie and his camp made based off their previous experience with knee related injuries. The likely deal would have been centered around Teague Rip and a pick or possibly Butler but if it would have been Butler Bulls would have gotten more back. Not a lot of news shook out prior to the Miami game where the Bulls ended their streak and this gave the Front Office the feeling that "Hey, If we get Rose back we can take Miami". They went to Rose with this, told him exactly what they felt and basically that he needed to return. The original plan was to bring him back slowly off the bench for 10-15 minutes for his first game back and slowly increase it to the point he starts the final couple of regular season games and heads into the playoffs. More recent info. Talked to my buddy last night, he says that Bulls are pushing for him to return do truly believe they can win a championship and have started resting players (Noah, Deng) for playoffs. Bulls firmly believe Rose will play this year and think it happens within next 4 games.

I'd be totally suprised at this point. Albeit a good suprise.

as for reggie and bj armstrong, reggie didn't have access to nearly the type of medical care that derrick rose does, and bj armstrong played in an era when the ACL was considered a much more severe injury to come back from.
