Boston was without Garnett, and Gordon was going off in those games, I'm a big Rose fan but he MAYBE had more help then than now (I admit not having seen a lot of Bulls games this year). And they did not destroy Indiana, a lot of games were close until the last minutes.

D.Rose is a great talent, but he's not the kind of player that can single-handedly beat a great team by himself.
That's all time great Center's type of shyt.....Shaq....Olajuwon etc.
Only guards putting that kind of scare into folks is MJ and Kobe....Maybe other than that, Bron.
As a PG, he really doesn't have the passing ability to dissect an elite defense like a Magic Johnson or even a Chris Paul.So it's not like he's going to make his teammates look better than they are.

Rose is Bron's son. He will continue to be until he doesn't shoot 6% in a series when guarded by him.
People always bring up the fact that Bulls lack a SG like the Heat don't start Udonis/Battier and Chalmers. The other 3 starters they've surrounded Rose with have all made all star teams, but somehow it's not enough smh.

I dont understand where people get this idea from? The Heat have only played D. Rose's Bulls once in the playoffs and they beat them handily in 5.

rose had other wing help in that series. it enabled rose to drop 36 and 11 in his playoff debut because he had guys like salmons gordon and kirk spreading the floor for him. but if kg played that series it wouldnt have went 7. indy and atl are what i explained are the mediocre teams. they have some talent but they dont have the glue, coaching full pieces to legitimately compete for a ring. those teams rose alone can take out.
legit teams like heat, spurs, maybe okc, maybe boston because doc is a legit defensive coach, they not going to let rose command so much attention to the point he leave wide open shots for everybody. nor will they give him the lane all willy nilly. if he had more dynamic wings next to him, you put his defender on a island with rose and its curtains. cause now if you send the help, rose got another wing player making teams pay for doing that. we saw the heat couldnt pull that shyt with dallas, because when they threw lebron on terry it was over for miami. but they got away with it vs bulls because we had keith bogans starting, and minimally skilled brewer getting minutes, with do defense one trick pony korver closing. a lot of heat fans just became fans of them 2 years ago, they dont know basketball, they just seeing 4-1 and thinking it was a clinic. real b ball fans know they bulls had the rebounding and the defense to keep them games ugly and close, bulls just lost all those 4th quarters cause the scoring wasnt there down the stretch. its too simple to stop 1 dude, if rose had another great wing next to him, he might have a ring right now.
rose was on a bad ankle trying to force the issue because his teammates were disappearing and playing hot potato with the ball down the stretch of games and handing him the ball with the shot clock going down, forcing him to make something happen. in reality, when bron took rose, rose should have been able to take bron to the other side of the court, and another dynamic wing should have been going ham on wade or chalmers. would have helped if boozer could have stayed on the floor but he couldnt guard anybody and was bad at rotation.
as far as continuing to bring up the other guys who have made all star teams, only noah helps with winning because of his other skills as a passer, and offensive rebounder. deng is like korver cause he cant put the ball on the hole and create his own shot. so he gets taken out like korver or novak does, and when they do give him space, his shooting aint good enough to make them pay. these guys are making all star teams because thibs is a great coach. also helps that janurary was a cupcake schedule and all star consideration is determined a lot in that month and the bulls reached 3rd in the east without rose, so that helped. but feburary was a tough month and you see how those "all stars" responded in a tougher schedule. 4-8 so stop with that.
in 2 regular season games vs miami in 2010-11 the bulls won games down the stretch when the heat focused on rose and korver, and then deng hit big shots down the stretch of games. in the offs both of them were no shows. rose need more talent around him. the bulls are a minimally skilled nonathletic squad getting coached up to respect. boozer has had 1 good month all season, deng played well when the schedule was weak but been horrible for a while now, noah the only dude been consistently stepping up.
