I'm 3 weeks younger than Rose. Late 94 was when I started getting into sports especially basketball. I remember being confused as hell and asking my dad about why he was wearing 45. Because I knew he was 23 from having the Jordan videos from the first 3 peat and before and watching it on repeat everyday and trying to copy his moves using red color plastic chairs as baskets.
Childhood was a hell of a time.
To be fair, no one called Broner this era's Mayweather, Sugar Ray, Hearns, not even Tito Trinidad. Rose is just echoing what a lot of players his age have already been on record saying. Whether you agree or not is your choice, but he had to be on that level or very close to it for them to say that. Honestly, even Jordan and other Hall of Famers have said it. He's not better than Jordan, but I'm afraid you're wrong about being on the same level. He has 5 rings and more points than Jordan, so he is on that level.

Half yall nikkas was too young to watch Jordan. Fukk outta here. I was born in 1988 like Rose and I barely remember Jordan's championship runs outside of the game he pushed off of Byron Russell. His first ring I was 3. He last ring I was 10. Yea....we really grew up in the Jordan era. Nikka talking about he was born in 1994. Nikka you was 4 in 1998 would you even listen to a 4 year old or a 10 year old's opinion on basketball right now? The era we grew up on was the T-Mac/Kobe/Vince Carter/Iverson era. I remember them days fully.
