Lebron played absolutely phenomenal defense, probably among the best that Derrick Rose faced that year. Rose wasn't able to get past Lebron consistently and quickly enough to do his usual acrobatics at the rim.

Derrick was fukking NEUTERED when Lebron guarded him and he always performed at his absolute worst when Lebron was put onto him. You can call out it whatever you want but the scheme didn't change and when Lebron switched on him, Rose wasn't able to create offense for himself or his team. Rose obviously become more hesitant whenever Lebron was involved in the play and attacking the defense became ten times more of a problem for him.

I mean, call it what you want but Lebron pretty much completely stifled Rose's impact and your offense went to shyt in the clutch because of it despite the fact that the scheme didn't really change.

the thunder played in an uptmepto offense in the west, why would his numbers be different(better) playing half court offense under thibbs who isn't an offensive minded head coach?

On the other hand, rose being able to play in the open floor and having a guy like durant, and finisher like adams, ibaka, and kanter would be for the league

A few things rose does better, his tear drops and hook shots when he gets on the paint are still incredible. And he wasnt the turnover machine westbrook is

But Westbrook is even more aggressive and fearless then Rose ever was. Hes willing to take more risks which gives him a higher ceiling
