Alhamdulillah
He has fukked up ligaments, the knee doesn't get better just because dude is lifting, maybe more muscle around it but that's it(It's good, but never great or magically makes the knee better than before).
I'm not gonna act like I'm some kind of expert but this what AP said about his knee:
and the espn article:Minnesota Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (knee) said the left knee he injured last December requiring major surgery and dedicated rehabilitation is stronger now than if he wouldn't have had surgery. "I feel (the knee) is better than it was last year," Peterson said. "With that being said, I know that I've got a little ways to go to get to where I want to be."
"It depends on the questions he has, but the one (piece) of advice I can give him is have your mind set on what you want to accomplish and go after it," Peterson said. "After four months ... the (knee ligaments) are there, it's stable, it's strong ... don't back down anything. Because I know around that time my knee was still a little sore too but the ligament was strong and almost stronger than the right side, so you can't be scared to challenge it and do different things thinking you are going to damage it."
and my fave part:
"It's funny, I haven't talked to him since that last time I saw him, but I just feel it and I can sit here and say I know he's going to come back better than he was before."

I have been saying time and time again, that dude would come back by xmas or new years. I doubt that is gonna happen, but I do believe dude will be back sometime in january still. and that he would be stronger than ever because of how much medical science has improved when it comes to these type of injuries. back when danny manning and ron harper were blowing out knees, it was basically a death sentence as far as your playing style goes, but not anymore.
is cleared to play, we sposed to start wack ass kirk hinrich over him still?????
