Exactly TLR is the only place I've seen where posters keep trying to talk this into existence. There's a reason why the article states DeSantis is “thought to be” not “will be” because the writer knows it's not happening either

so as I said I’m not convinced at all DeSantis has the ability to be the next POTUS

The only way I see DeSantis getting anywhere near the White House would be only if Trump were to ask him to campaign with him as his VP.

I'm saying this because I don't know if Trump and Pence can rekindle what they “had” after Pence firmly “disobeyed” wishes down the stretch on top of Trump leaving him out there to be hanged (literally) by his own supporters.

Even with all the shyt Trump has caused for the Republican Party I still believe it's his party to lose at least for 2024, 2028 will likely be when the party moves forward with a new face.


I don't think DeSantis directly running against Trump (unless Trump sits out 2024 altogether) for the nomination because that would alienate his Florida supporters who are likely Trump stans and plus he's a stan of the man himself which is why he's trying hard to sound like him if not worse.

For the Dems, it would probably be better if DeSantis ran because they would beat him for sure as I think he could be picked apart and although they've beaten Trump already the problem is that the way the attitudes of this country has been going the for past year or shyt you can't tell what would happen if Biden and Trump square off again.
