This is absolutely disgusting and this puts a lot of our folks at risk

What about our people who can’t afford first month, last month, security deposit? Sometimes that could be $4500.

Me and my wife couldn’t move until we got our taxes for YEARS.

We use to ask landlords to add it to our rent. Everyone did. Y’all never been broke?

Straight from Flatbush
they gonna end up driving elderly people on a fixed income out of the state too.
Not only that Florida is one of the worse states to by a brand new car in.. there is no cap on dealer doc fees.. they be charging $1500 for doc fees smh

So when folk see cheap prices for new cars in Florida be sure those scamming faggits make up for it in that doc fee

And people will keep flocking here by the droves so none of this really matters..this type of leadership is what happens when you attract people from other states who couldn't hack it where they're original from and generally gave up ambition in life. They just take it in stride but hey atleast it doesn't snow and there is some palm trees
.:unimpressed:

How are they giving up hope if they are still striving to succeed? What if where they are from is smaller compared to Florida why wouldn’t they leave?

If they added limits in the bill, then it would be a win for landlords and tenants .
Something like, "Added fees can not accrue to more than 2 months rent (First/Last) plus 20%, and additional fees can only be charged over X amount of months". This would eliminate the fear of runaway fees, and provide some incentive for landlords. If you can't come up with First and Last months rent, then you should be happy to pay it monthly plus that 20% over the set amount of time.

Stop looking at life through the lens of the victim.
