They're the kind of black people who are something else before they are black. They will spend more time talking about "misogynoir", black transphobia, black feminism, etc. They underestimate the power and reach of white supremacy in society and thus end up recreating the exact kind of conversations that white people have amongst eachother. They want to stand out very badly to the point where they dont realize they've become aesthetic clones of one another and intellectual clones who are repeating the same talking points.

They're the kind of black people who believe only in gathering data for its own sake and not attaching it to deliverables that we can see for ourselves. Theyll "raise awareness" before raising funds. They often get used by the democratic party. They are the black friend of the white liberal who is brought up when he or she is accused of racism.

People want to throw ta nehisi coate into this group, I agree to an extent. However, he often will go against the narrative of black passivity. His work is largely a debunking of white stereotypes and myths of success. He's a great scholar who is good at using white data against white supremacists. They can always say "you can't quote John Henrik Clarke or cheikh diop, they're afrocentric without enough verified sources" but when their own scholars are used against them they dont have any rebuttals. Coates is an educator, but he will never actually change shyt. He's given up on America entirely and won't risk anything to change anything.

The biggest fukking hypocrites their main goal is white acceptance. They like to shyt on white people but 80% of their friends are white and they usually have a white or non black partner.

They don't really like black people or their blackness plus they have to spare their white friends feelings so they use words like "people of color" "women of color" instead of black people and black woman.

They think Democrats and liberals are our "allies" and that Republicans are the devil.

They love to use buzzwords they've heard to try to make themselves seem more educated. They love to talk about Ltgbdasssxd rights and intersectionality.

They hate straight black men and want us gone because blavity blacks want to be with white men and they see our straightness and maleness as being the closest to white men so they want us gone.

That is also the reason they hate white woman.

Been running into these kinds here in Vancouver. Was looking for more creative black people to meet up with.

And the groups I've come across are female dominated mostly by black, Indian and asian females, but by a certain type of female. Natural hair, septum piercings etc

Saw an event that was about black discussion in art. In small print I see this event is only open to 'WoC' and those who identify as LGBTQIA

Tbh not all of these chicks are on that wave. But I peep how most of them described themselves as 'women of colour' black is rarely used.

It's one thing to be a proponent of respectability to promote safety, responsibility, and as an antidote to FYIGM(fukk yall I got mine) in neighborhoods and to build community. b
But the moment people start using respectability as an antidote to state sanctioned violence against us. You'll get hit with the
