I've heard some uber leftists on here denigrate the apparent practicality of Third Way democrats as being "traitors" and shills...but I think theres more to governance than hardening extremists when it comes to being an effective leader.

They're essentially Reagan Republicans who (1) are atheists, (2) don't own guns, and (3) preach a slick, corporate brand of "diversity" that renders genuine discussions on race meaningless.

There's no push for change for the bottom 99%.

My main gripe with them is the same as my gripe with any other ideologists- all govt accountability goes out the window to further their agendas. @ThreeLetterAgency would accuse his own mother of terrorism before criticizing or questioning the establishment

1. Economics...not necessarily true. They want to reign in the welfare state, but do believe in many aspects of basic economic stability for the masses

2. Big business employs a majority of the country...gotta make some concessions or you're gonna have more companies setting up in places like Ireland.

3. No push for change for the bottom? Thats....jsut not true.

4. Whats wrong with their foreign policy? I mean at some point we see what happens (look around) when theres a vacuum in place. One day, you're apologizing for past errors and the next thing you can't secure markets for your goods.

...thats, not true. And I find it ironic you ignore many of the criticisms I have of government and regulatory efforts.

in fact, I'm pretty sure you ignore damn near ANY thing I've ever said that happens to disprove this very meme/notion you have about my views.
