Man........this song....probably one of my favorite jazz tunes, if not the best jazz tune I have ever heard.
Storytime:
When I was buying records (before the game got stupid), I wanted this album so badly that it hurt. One day, I had seen it on Amazon for a few dollars and just broke the mouse trying to buy it.
Once it was delivered, the vinyl was beat to all hell and the sleeve was left to be desired, but that crispness of the album, that hiss, and warmth of the bass on that jawn....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Whew....I got chills thinking about it. I may have to run that jawn off the strength of this post.
