Cause that's the truth and its hard to argue against the truth. What they're doing in this case is latching onto the Hitler part cause they can't argue against anything else from that quote. So they are attacking the messenger rather than the message. Its a classic fallacy in logic.

I'm telling everyone here that quoting Hitler to make a point is foolish.

Why? Other than for the stupid reaction that comes from the ignorant, why would quoting anyone be foolish? The content of the quote is what matters not who its attributed to. Attacking the messanger rather than the message is a classic logical fallacy. Just because the idiotic masses can't exercise logical reasoning doesn't mean the rest of us should.

I personally don't care for Hitler. He was a racist cac like the rest of the white power structure throughout most of history. However, if he said that quote (which I don't know to be true) then he was correct and there is nothing wrong with posting it. The truth stands on its own accord. It doesn't care who says it. The only people who care about who is saying the truth are those who don't want the truth to ever be told.
