Even the knock off Raybans there is a noticeable difference. The knockoffs are very flimsy and cheaply put together.
The difference between designers shades like Louis, Gucci, etc is way more substantial.

Yep... Luxotica manufactures alot of the top brands, they own Ray Ban, and LensCrafters.
As far as durability it's also the same unless you buy some gas station joints.You're just more apt to take care of shades you spent a nice amount on, therefore they last.
