No, I wouldn't want that. This is not a cosign of American violent interventionism. I don't want stuff imposed on anybody.

What I want is my community (and ideally every community) to have the freedom to choose and build its own culture. But that can't happen if a) subgroups hog the power and impose their will on everybody else b) we can't even admit when other groups might have better ways in certain circumstances.

It's not like the women in Afghanistan have any say in their own culture, so regardless, shyt is imposed to them. That's part of my point.
