You provided nothing that stated women were committing suicide en mass.

Goddamn you're a hideously bad poster. Did you not read the very first thing I quoted?

"Women in the Taliban controlled areas surveyed by PHR almost unanimously expressed that the Taliban had made their life "much worse" (94-98%). These women reported worse physical (84% vs. 63%) and mental health (85% vs. 54%), including extremely high rates of major depression (76% vs. 28%) and suicide (16% vs. 9%), compared to women living in non-Taliban controlled areas."

That's after just 5 years of Taliban rule, and already 76% of women had "major depression" and 16% had committed suicide. Those are insanely high numbers, and of course the suicide rates would increase the longer they were subjected to that shyt.

As a matter of fact one of your quotes is taken from a 95 report that was literally describing actions during the tribal wars in tafghanistan after the fall of the USSR government BEFORE the taliban assumed majority control of the nation, which was 96.
So it seems you are purposely selecting quotes out of context. To try to make a argument or represent a situation to push western interest.

You claimed this shyt wasn't happening before the USA came, so I posted shyt from three different years before 2001, now you're trying to put made-up conditions on it. And you're engaging in complete bullshyt trying to act like shyt was better for women under Taliban control than outside of Taliban control - the statistics in the above paragraph immediately disprove that claim.

I guess we will ignore this

You can't have actually read those articles. :dead:

All three articles are just anecdotal reports of tiny groups of women supporting the Taliban and none of them say women in general are happy.

Article 1: Obviously a staged rally, immediately after the Taliban took over, and it includes the promise that women will be allowed to keep attending university which the Taliban have already gone back on. Also, the author himself points out that many women in the audience were planted and were not actually university students. Has women saying they're angry that any woman has been able to go outside without being fully covered and thankfully that will end now.

Article 2: This is just someone randomly saying "a few women support the Taliban" with zero numbers or report of their mental state....but it explicitly attributes that to religious indoctrination and women desperate to make themselves better marriage prospects by becoming hardliners because they no longer have any other opportunities in life.

Article 3: Literally just 1 women they interview says shyt is better for women, and one of the examples she gives is that girls aren't allowed to go out freely anymore so they won't date boys and be corrupted. The rest of it is just about war violence decreasing, which is cynical as fukk because it also says directly that the Taliban were the ones causing that violence.

That's all you could come up with? Against proof that the vast majority of Afghan women are suffering major depression and suicide rates are crazy, against proof that suicide rates by women have surged since the Taliban took control, your pro-Taliban argument is.....that they're enforcing hardline religious norms on everyone and some women like that?

lol, PHR states that, yet I provided evidence and studies that show women in the taliban controlled area support and favor Taliban.

I said this shyt wasn't happening with the taliban pre invasion. It wasn't.
Citing civil war incidents, that occured a decade before the invasion pre taliban and not pre invasion makes no logical sense and in fact if you want to be real is intellectually dishonest.

Funny the articles I read are just as annectdotal as the studies you provided that are based of interview and reports, not documented physical, recorded, or picture evidence of events. Funny only things that support western stories are valid, conflicting info using same methods is no longer interview data, but dismissible annecdotes. Love that western double standard.

A staged rally, but the rallies in kabul funded by western sources and NGOs aren't staged?

The article cites a study and the researchers who conducted the study. thats in the quote I snipped. Again its funny this study is not valid and just someone's opinion but the study you provided aren't just the writers opinions?

The 3rd article isn't even women, its about young men, I cited it because I wanted to see if you would even pay attention, you didn't.

I provided you reports from on the ground, studies from on the ground that are counter western claim. I even earlier provided two excellent articles on how the western influence is building resentment in afghan women in how they are told to and incentivized to tell stories of victimhood to generate money. Hell one even pointed out how the Taliban plays into the "afghan woman victims" messaging to secure funds from the west themselves.

I would suggest you do better yourself, but I doubt you will.

A great deal of you are full blown western propagandist spreaders and consumers.

No you didn't, liar. You just posted a few anecdotal claims that tiny numbers of women supported the Taliban, not a single study that made such a claim.

I said this shyt wasn't happening with the taliban pre invasion. It wasn't.

And I cited clear proof that it was, which you have ignored. 76% of women were experiencing major depression before 2001 and 16% had committed suicide, both of which are insanely high numbers, and both of those issues were worse in Taliban-ruled areas than in areas free from Taliban. You've posted zero evidence to counter that.

Funny the articles I read are just as annectdotal as the studies you provided that are based of interview and reports, not documented physical, recorded, or picture evidence of events.

No, dumbass, the results of documented surveys and health care statistics straight from health care workers is not just as anecdotal as a couple women saying "I support the Taliban".

The article cites a study and the researchers who conducted the study. thats in the quote I snipped. Again its funny this study is not valid and just someone's opinion but the study you provided aren't just the writers opinions?

The study you quoted was marriage rates of minors, it had literally nothing to do with women's mental health, suicide, or how they feel about the Taliban. Are you seriously so dumb you think you're making a point?

The 3rd article isn't even women, its about young men, I cited it because I wanted to see if you would even pay attention, you didn't.

Really, liar?

Several years ago, Hamidi decided to start wearing the black, full-face niqab in the streets of Kabul after reading and analysing the Quran. According to her, Western influence had led to “moral decay” among Afghanistan’s youth.

Sitting at the Slice Bakery and Cafe, a coffee shop frequented by Kabul’s more well-to-do youth, Hamidi watched as a young man and woman in their early 20s sat down at the table next to her. “Our society had become so corrupted that boys and girls felt comfortable enough to go out alone on dates,” Hamidi said.

That's the woman in your article that I was referring to. Literally the ONLY evidence of women supporting how the Taliban has treated women, and it's no better than the "evidence" in the other two articles. So which one of us was paying attention? You just played yourself, dumbass.

that idiot gets bushed like once a month probably more lol smh

This @David_TheMan character defending the Taliban used to defend Hitler and say he wasn't evil at all, he was just a man with ideas. He claimed Hitler and Jesse Owens were actually great friends and the media got it all wrong.

He also defends Confederates, saying that white cops have every right to fly the Confederate flag and if you try to stop them you're violating their rights. He tried to derail an anti-Confederate thread by claiming, "But only 32% of White households owned slaves, not all of them!" and "Look, some Black people owned slaves too!" He even was recommending history books written by neo-Confederates that said Lincoln was the true evil one and celebrating his assassination.

He's repeatedly called Obama evil and posted right-wing articles by racists claiming that Obamacare was killing people. Yet he'll defend Trump left and right.

He's a huge Ron Paul stan and says that Ron Paul is the only hope for America, even though he's had an entire career of pushing racist bullshyt and hanging with White Supremacists.

He worships White women and says they're superior to Black women in every way.

Why he only gets bushed for a few months each time and not perma-banned makes no sense to me

yes i do, in the 2nd link artuxle why do women support thr talibam it cites and li ks to this atudy

You are lying out right.

And I cited clear proof that it was, which you have ignored. 76% of women were experiencing major depression before 2001 and 16% had committed suicide, both of which are insanely high numbers, and both of those issues were worse in Taliban-ruled areas than in areas free from Taliban. No what you cited was clear proof of anything but a Kabul based subset of the population that is a vast minority.

No one can verify those numbers as well.

No, dumbass, the results of documented surveys and health care statistics straight from health care workers is not just as anecdotal as a couple women saying "I support the Taliban".
Lol, documented surveys based on personal anecdotes are still anecdotes. The study you posted regarding suicides in the war period from 92 - 95 literally states it's collected from I tervoews as well. Ie personal annexdotes right? Lol

The study you quoted was marriage rates of minors, it had literally nothing to do with women's mental health, suicide, or how they feel about the Taliban. Are you seriously so dumb you think you're making a point?
No the 2nd link I cited is about support of the taliban by women due to location in the country it specifically details ho the majority of women don't live in Kabul and I. The country side where the Islamic law is common anyway and the rules the taliban enforces are the norm.

The age was just an asked to further document the difference between Kabul and the rest of the nation

Really, liar?
Yes really and you are a liar

That's not a "study", it's just an opinion essay by two writers. And even they say that the Taliban made things worse for urban women, but didn't change life much for rural women because all the other rural groups were just as bad. The article literally says, "The Taliban closing schools for girls didn't impact rural areas because 90% of Afghan women were already illiterate anyway."

Some endorsement. :mjlol:

No what you cited was clear proof of anything but a Kabul based subset of the population that is a vast minority.

No one can verify those numbers as well.

You're blatantly lying. This is directly from the article:

"To this end, Physicians for Human Rights conducted two separate, population-based studies over a three-month period in 2000. In order to represent the views of Afghan women with a wide range of experiences and attitudes, PHR randomly sampled women in four separate geographic areas. PHR also sampled men in these areas. In Afghanistan, PHR sampled rural and urban households in both Taliban controlled and non-Taliban controlled areas."

"In Pakistan, PHR sampled refugees who had arrived in Pakistan within the last two years and had been exposed to Taliban policies. [16] PHR also sampled another group of refugees who had lived in Pakistan for over four years and had no exposure to Taliban policies. These refugees were in the process of being repatriated to Afghanistan. This sampling strategy was designed to enable comparisons of attitudes and experiences of iniduals in Taliban and non-Taliban controlled areas, rural and urban settings, and in refugee and non-refugee settings. The combined population size from which we sampled the four groups was 235,312."

Why did you lie and claim it was only Kabul? Did you think you could get away with it without getting caught, or is your reading comprehension really that bad?

Lol, documented surveys based on personal anecdotes are still anecdotes.

Admit you have no fukking clue what sociological data is, dumbass. :snoop:

He's trying to win an argument by claiming that all surveys and reported medical data are now illegitimate, but random stories from cherry-picked people are just as good. :heh:

You stated a woman I cited. I didn't cite a woman

You linked the article and claimed it showed women support the Taliban. I pointed out that there was only one women quoted in the article who said that the Taliban had made things better for women and she was obviously an extremist. Then you tried to claim there were no women in the article and you only posted it as a test, now you're just randomly deflecting.

Don't you realize that you argue so poorly that you will never, ever convince anyone with this bullshyt?

It's a study, it called a cultural analysis this is a common type of study in anthropology and philosophy.

I didn't say it was an endorsement, I am simply stating the fact that there is female support for the taliban despite what the west would lead you to believe.

You're blatantly lying. This is directly from the article:

I was referring to the first study that's literally about Kabul and composed of interviews. Not the 2nd.

Admit you have no fukking clue what sociological data is, dumbass. :snoop:

He's trying to win an argument by claiming that all surveys and reported medical data are now illegitimate, but random stories from cherry-picked people are just as good. :heh:
No I'm simply using the standard you want to use against you equally. If you want to discount interviews as annexdotes the same applies to you.

You linked the article and claimed it showed women support the Taliban. I linked two articles that showed women support the taliban.
I linked two more news articles that went into why these groups support the taliban the mindset. Which affirm the claim I initially made that was denied that said despite public media there is female support for the taliban.

You ctook one article I posted that was literally about male attitudes towards the taliban and a quote I actually cited was from two males, and using that you claimed I cited a woman which is a blatant lie and then claimed it's one woman when the whole citation I used was simply to see if you even read what I posted. Lol
