Microsoft is offering $75 to those who upgrade from Xbox 360 to Xbox One as part of a new promotion spotted by NeoGAF users.

A screenshot of the promotion was taken by one forum user when it appeared after turning on their Xbox 360. Other users are noticing this promotion is not being offered to all 360 owners.

We've reached out to Microsoft for further information and will update as it comes.

Exclusive cross-gen games are having superior versions given to the X1 right? Won't say 360 is finished but it helps push people towards the X1.

Desperate tactic. I'm actually glad Microsoft is losing the console war.

Now if only Nintendo can get that killer app to push their Wii U over PS4.....

360 still getting great support.

Titanfall, world of tanks, warface, forza horizon 2.

It's been a great year for 360. Not "dead" by any stretch of the imagination.
