I got some time to write while they do maintanence on my car. Lmao!
When I look at a lot of the comments I read that allegedly by blk men and blk women, I oftentimes see a lot of bravado, pride, and defensiveness hiding a lot of hurt.

Many of us are depressed when it comes to interactions with the opposite sex and have a low sense of self-worth.

Signs or Indicators

1.) The idea that whites get the best mates of our race. A lot of blacks don't even approach or interact with the opposite sex because they automatically assume they only deal with whites.
2.) Obsession with non-blks. To many in our race lower expectations for non-blk mates and/or treat anything non-blk like its a prize while putting no stock in their own sense of worth.
3.) Dating trash. So many blk men and blk women willingly date trash ass options because they believe this is all they can get.
4.) Bitterness and hopelessness I know many people who don't even believe in love anymore and actively discourage or castigate others for doing so as well.
5.) False bravado. So many are out here trying to be something they aren't because they hate themselves and can't face themselves daily. Game, finesse, playas, girls hustling. It's impossible to get to know these types of individuals because they have layers of offensive tactics to cover up their hurt and they're sole goal
Is to hurt or take advantage of others

Any other symptoms u can think of?

Moreover what are some solutions. How can we promote some healing. Shyt makes me feel bad.

I keep telling people that we really don't have a culture perse.... The one that we created for us has been eradicated.... and now we are a manufactured people with an identity crisis......and I mean a real one....
Your culture is your culture. DOnt let anyone tell you it's any lesser of a culture. It may not be as deeply rooted as others but it's yours no matter how many different parts you had to put together to make it.Black Americans arent the only ones who have had their native african culture either stripped away or heavily diluted. Caribbean, Afro-latinos and even Africans in Africa have seen the same effects. Some more than others. All you can do now is use what you have going and build from there.

Edit: don't get me wrong. There are things that we may look at in each other's cultures or even our own and be like:scust: or :mjlol: but that still doesn't make it any less of a culture

Those could be the reasons so many if us place so much value on trinkets. We think it validates our self worth.

Man i need to start cutting down on my coli visits. This place is too fukking depressing.

This place depresses you:stopitslime:. Some people have real problems breh:usure:

This forum just a bunch of talkers, few are about any action. Doing what most people on this forum do when it comes to making generalizations n judging is easy as hell.

But op is right in some aspects, over dramatic in others.
