The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports Destination America is planning to cancel TNA Unlocked, which is hosted by Mike Tenay.

The network had been giving it a new time slot every week, which is usually a good indication a show is at its end. It’s been reported that Destination America regrets making the deal in the first place, and it’s why they are getting any ‘secondary’ TNA programming off of their schedule.

The Observer goes on to say Tenay’s status with the company is up in the air; he signed a one-year deal at the start of the year, but now he’s without an on-air role. Once Taz left it was thought he could have been brought back on to Impact Wrestling, but the decision was made to use Al Snow instead

Unlocked wasn't really different enough to be its own show. It's just a replay with pop-ups and an occasional interview. They should just run Xplosion.

Getting shows canceled for re-runs of Bigfoot Hunter shows isn't a good sign for anything though.:sadcam:

I know rumors of their demise have been greatly exaggerated, but I don't see them surviving much longer if they don't get a different day sooner than later.

I didn't think Destination America really had that much leverage. I never even knew this channel existed until Impact went on there. I guess it says more about TNA's desperation. Or more about how they can't negotiate well. I don't know. :yeshrug:

I wonder if Netflix would have any interest? Even if it's less money for TNA that exposure would be huge and much more than being on Destination America.

Doubtful, but just a thought.
