The raid weapons are fire. I've only gotten the boots so far, but I wouldn't mind not completing the raid if I was able to get some of the weapons on my next few runs before ever finishing the final fight.

Is this worth grabbing?

I bought into the hype for the first Destiny and traded that game in with quickness due to the lack of content.

Big MMO fan so I know this isn't on the level with games like WOW but is it enough to keep me playing

The first Destiny didn't stick with me, but this one is better IMO because it has a more fleshed out story.
