People care. If it was for a few weeks or months it'd be no biggie but for a year?? That's pretty crazy. Also let me remind you that it's not just simply armor and weapons, it included an exclusive competitive map and co-op strike mission.
Now did you play the alpha?? Strike Missions aren't some run of the mill horde modes. It's an actual long mission with lots of enemies, boss fights and crazy ass music going on in between. This is far from a "meh" thing imo. Is it buy a PS4 just for Destiny when you already have an Xbox One big?? Nah not at all but the whole "it's nothing really.." comments sound salty imo. Nikkas is heated on some other forums. This isn't as big as an entire game being moneyhatted like the way Titanfall was. shyt I felt like the GTA IV DLC for 360 was bigger. That was like an entire game held off for PS3 until about a year later.

I missed out on the appeal of Borderlands coop mode, so I think I'm going to give this one a try. I already told my lil bro to pick it up when it drops and I'm sure Bungie will make the competitive multiplayer dope as well.
I think every review that I've seen about the game said that watching it really doesn't do it justice. I thought the same thing about it looking boring until all the feedback came in and til I saw how the environment looked in the game.

If Destiny ever makes it to the Tourney scene that exclusive map will be banned from the map rotation in Tourneys like how Kratos and his stage were banned in the Mortal Kombat Tourney Scene/Evo and all Evo Qualifying tourneys. Reason being is that only certain people will know the map and the rest of the Destiny players won't know the map so it's best to just ban it from the tourney altogether
