We all realize/recognize that Huma was fukkn someone else outside the relationship right? No one is going a year without having an emotional/physical attachment with someone else. You pretty much need that in order to live with yourself in that situation.
Controversial question: If Huma agreed to work things out wit him, as his wife, why isn't she having sex with him? The blame falls on Weiner for fukkn everything up. But let's say once they agreed to patch things up, he went out his way to rekindle that spark, doesn't she have an obligation to tell him shyts not gonna work out? Maybe in all actuality, Weiner was a political card being used by Huma - to exhibit strength to the public.
There's a whole lot of depth to these questions, but quick answer is that, I think clearly they were only together as an convenience for the most part, to stay together for their son, probably until Hillary was elected.... and if there was still any hope of a physical/emotional/sexual relationship, it was obviously something she was moving very slowly on. But, I really believe the former, and it was just a formality marriage, and Weiner was a glorified babysitter. I know a good amount of middle eastern women, very good people, who I can easily see in Huma's spot..She may have slept with someone, but those women walk a different path as far as sexuality and their own desires, they are very repressed, I imagine not much of that changes, even if they are fashion and political icons. Huma seems devoted to her work. And lastly, she isn't obligated to have sex with him, if it was such an issue he should leave, but I believe he's way more codependent, (as she is likely) and financially dependent on her.
