You spittin'. Marriage used to be infrastructure, not romance. It was about alliances, bloodlines, property, stability. Thoroughly a system for managing risk, not chasing butterflies.
What we did was remix an old institution of survival with the modern fantasy of fulfillment. And now folks shocked when the whole thing collapses under emotional weight it was never designed to carry. The shift from duty to desire, from structure to feelings, left people with no backup plan when love fades or betrayal hits. So yeah, marriage might fade...or maybe it'll just return to what it always was: a strategic agreement dressed in heavy custom vows.
Problem in the current times?
There are no elders, no clan and no consequences. S'all about the vibes and court dates this day and age.

There are tons of “good” people in this world with issues and they know how to hide them
That’s why even the happiest person in the world can commit that without you even knowing how they feel internally
I was married to a wonderful woman until one day all her shyt came rushing to the top partly due to postpartum
I asked all the questions
I never saw anything in her behavior prior to our incident that ultimately broke us apart
We would have normal relationship issues and nothing out of the ordinary
Weekly progress reports on how we feel and what the other spouse could do better
And in the end she had deep seeded issues nobody
I mean NOBODY knew
So you couch potato wannabe therapists are just that
You nikkas talk all this bullshyt on this forum for other weird nikkas that have absolutely not lived
It’s only a very few on this board that I recognized been through some real shyt with women
The fukked and kind of ironic shyt here is
When that breh got killed by his white girlfriend
You dusty bytches unleashed all kinds of vitriol on to that man
It didn’t matter if he was a c00n
The nikka still lost his life
When that bytch set her people up to kill breh and he laid her family down
Yall nikkas did the same thing
Defended her action and called breh guilty off rip
And that was a black woman who got her family killed and her ex jammed up
This is what yall do every time a wretched bytch does something evil and then can’t understand how somebody would react because you ain’t never been there before
Clearly anybody with a brain doesn’t condone violence on any level
And breh took it way too far
But ask yourself without being a jug headed bytch
If you came home and found out all three of your kids aren’t yours and there were no signs of infidelity
You been standing on business, doing your duties as a father and protector
You would just take the L and ride off into the sunset
