the thing with tax foreclosures is that these homes are more than likely paid off because i don't really know of a bank that gives you a mortgage without collecting escrow for taxes and insurance to protect their investment (the loan). how behind are they? this can't be just one year of non-payment, they've probably been saying "i don't got it" for a long time. get in on a payment plan, something. doing something is always better than just sitting by and saying "i don't have it, what are they going to do?" i couldn't let something like that happen to my grandma.

and if so many people are behind on their property taxes, how do we expect their local govt to provide services that we complain aren't being provided?
